The TRICARE Supplement plan is a secondary insurance option offered by AFSA that “wraps around” existing TRICARE coverage. It is specifically designed to minimize or eliminate the out-of-pocket costs associated with military healthcare.

    • Cost Elimination: Helps cover co-pays, cost-shares, and excess charges.
    • Comprehensive Coverage: Once deductibles are met, the plan pays 100% of covered medical expenses.

  • Eligibility: Available to AFSA members under age 65, including retirees and families of active-duty members.
